Track Day - Pukekohe Sunday 10th January 2010
Gary Lathrope and Rachael Murray are organising another track day at Pukekohe. It is a great day to take freiends, clients etc for rides or carry out some testing in a contolled manner. Round 1 Write-up (15 November 2009)
The first meeting of the 2009/2010 season was much anticipated as it was the first official race meeting at the newly completed motor sport facility at Hampton Downs. Competitors were encouraged to walk the track prior to racing to get a feel for the layout. I did this with several of the drivers and their comments were “more undulations than I thought”, “look at the track width of this corner” “this first corner is going to be interesting”. [more]

Round 7 Write-up - April 2009
A beautiful autumn day greeted competitors for the last round of the series hosted by the Auckland Car Club. The Northern Muscle Cars ran in a combination class with racing saloons. This gave a field of 34 cars with all kinds of cars and sizes. Lap speeds between fastest and slowest were covered by over 18 seconds! The temperatures were cool but the sun was welcome. [more]
